Card Cabinet

Adding cards

Moving from another app

Bring your collection over from CollX, Collectr, Ludex or TCDB in one file.

On this page

Card Cabinet reads the exports of CollX, Collectr and Ludex as they come, and a list copied from TCDB. It recognizes the file, matches the columns for you and shows a preview before anything is saved.

Get your export

AppWhere to find itNotes
CollXProfile → Settings → Export Collection → CSVNeeds CollX Pro. Includes prices and photo links.
CollectrSettings → Export → CSVNeeds Collectr Pro.
LudexEmail support@ludex.com with the subject "Data Export Request" and your Account ID (Profile → Account Settings). For paid members. Ludex says it can take up to 30 days, once a year. No photos.
TCDBTCDB has no spreadsheet export. Open your collection on TCDB, select the table of cards, copy it, and paste it into Card Cabinet.Do one set or page at a time if the list is long.

These steps are each app's own, so they may change. Check the app's help if a menu has moved.

Bring it in

  1. Open Import (on a phone: More → Import a spreadsheet).
  2. Choose the export file. For TCDB, open Paste a list instead, paste, and choose Continue.
  3. Card Cabinet says which app the file came from, for example Matched as a Ludex export. If it guessed wrong, change From.
  4. Check the preview. To change which column fills a field, choose Change the matches.
  5. Choose Add to my existing cards or Replace my collection. Cards you already have are listed under Already in your cabinet, where you can skip them, add to their quantity or add them as separate cards.
  6. Choose Import.

Changed your mind? Choose Undo on the message after the import, or find it in History for 30 days.

Values from other apps become each card's first price-history entry, dated the day you import. Card Cabinet then keeps them up to date with its own price checks.

Anything the import doesn't match stays behind in your file. You can match any remaining column yourself on the Match your columns step. See Importing a spreadsheet for every field.
